Bid for exclusive Formula One paddock passes with the Tom Pryce Memorial Trust.
Thanks to the generosity of Bernie Ecclestone and the Formula One teams, the Tom Pryce Memorial Trust is able to offer an auction of Formula One paddock passes with team hospitality for two at each of the nine European Grands Prix.
For nine weeks from 9 February 2009 the Tom Pryce Memorial Trust will be auctioning one pair of passes for a Grand Prix each week, with all the money raised contributing towards a memorial to Tom Pryce in his home town of Ruthin, North Wales.
Out of the cockpit Tom Pryce was quiet and introspective, reserved with people he did not know. In the car, however, he was transformed. A gifted racer, he was blisteringly quick and, to this day, remains one of only a handful of Welsh drivers to have competed at the highest level. He is the only one to have won a Formula One race and is also the only Welshman to lead a Formula One World Championship Grand Prix. In the right equipment he would have challenged for the World Championship, but tragically he was killed in a freak accident during the 1977 South African Grand Prix.
